I like him too. I wouldn't say it was a change for the better, but it wasn't a bad change. I think for me, the change is in the better writing. Brosnan had too many cheesy lines.
That's very true Nhi, people tend to confuse a better bond with better writing. Although, personally I sort of miss the cheesy lines - as suave and sophisticated as Bond was, he had more cheese than a double stuffed pizza and that is how Ian Fleming wrote him back in '53. I suppose the thing I like least about the new direction of the current writers is they are trying to make Bond like Bourne and that's blasphemy because back in the day, it was other characters who tried to be like Bond, not vice versa.

Most women do, but I am baffled as to the reason why. I too preferred Mr. Brosnan. I have already gone off on how un-like Bond Craig is here.
